Burnley 0-0 Arsenal: Match Report 2 Feb 2020
Burnley 0-0 Arsenal

Burnley ended a run of 11 successive defeats to Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta's team started brightly, with Alexandre Lacazette heading just past the post and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang firing wide when through on goal.

Arsenal had two glorious openings inside the first 15 minutes.

In just two minutes, Aubameyang, on his return to the side, crossed for the unmarked Lacazette to head a yard wide from close range.

Aubameyang should have put them in front when he got round the back of Burnley to collect a through ball from David Luiz but sent his shot wide.

James Tarkowski and Rodriguez may want to and possibly have scored with headers, and Rodriguez in some way didn't score from close range when his volley crashed onto the bar and bounced down onto the line.
