Mikel Arteta tasted victory for the first time since taking charge of Arsenal after Nicolas Pepe's and Sokratis Papastathopoulos goals put his side on course for a 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Emirates Stadium.


Arsenal took the lead on 10th minute, as Nicolas Pépé scored the goal with the left footed shot from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal.


Sokratis Papastathopoulos doubled Arsenal's lead just before half-time with the right footed shot from very close range to the high centre of the goal following a corner.
