Zedd Bottles the Sound of “Telos” Album in New Coffee Roast Collab

Zedd has brewed up a new sensory experience with a custom coffee roast celebrating the one-year anniversary of Telos, his third album.

Crafted in collaboration with Onyx Coffee Lab, the custom limited edition blend translates the layered emotional arc of Telos into a cup of coffee designed to deliver “depth, complexity, and nuance,” the roastery said. The single-origin roast, simply titled ZEDD + ONYX, is sourced from El Salvador’s famed Jorge Raul Rivera and contains a flavor profile that includes raisin, black tea, rose and cara cara orange.

The EDM superstar’s latest creative crossover is more than just clever branding, reflecting a multi-dimensional ethos that’s been core to his recent artistic output. Telos, which marked Zedd’s return after a nearly decade-long album hiatus, stunned with orchestral flourishes and daring production choices.

Featuring John Mayer, Remi Wolf and more, the stunning album ultimately received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

“What I’ve always dreamed of doing is creating an album that I genuinely believe 30 years from today, I will look back on and be incredibly proud of,” Zedd said of the album last year. “[With Telos], I accomplished just that.”
