Diogo Jota dies aged 28: Live reaction to shocking tragedy as Liverpool star killed in car crash
In devastating news on Thursday morning, Liverpool star Diogo Jota has died in a car crash in Spain.
The 28-year-old and his brother, Andre, were killed while they were travelling from Penafiel when their car went off the road.
The incident occurred on the A-52 in the province of Zamora.
According to the Spanish Guardia Civil, the accident happened after Jota and his brother’s Lamborghini ‘left the road due to a tyre blow out while overtaking.’
