The Last Ten Seconds of Life Drop New Single “Make It To Heaven”

Pennsylvania deathcore band The Last Ten Seconds Of Life just released a hopeful sounding new single off their forthcoming album The Dead Ones titled “Make It To Heaven”. Though after listening to it, I’m pretty sure it’s not the cheery track the title makes it out to be.

Speaking of the song and its meaning, vocalist Tyler Beam says it’s all about not letting religion cloud your path through life.

“Growing up as a young artist in a conservative Christian environment, I was no stranger to being influenced to take different paths. As I grew up, I began to realize that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You’re here now and no matter what anyone could tell you, no one knows what comes after all of this. You have one chance to experience being human, so why squander it on anything. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do, go out into the world and turn it upside down.”

This new track features a guest vocal appearance by David Simonich of Signs Of The Swarm, which adds another killer layer to the overarching track.

The Dead Ones will be released on April 17 via Metal Blade Records, but you can preorder your copy today. They are also heading out on tour next month featuring Traitors and Nailed Shut, with The Crimson Armada and Flesh Prison jumping on board for select dates. You can find the tour dates below.
